Lovely off the beaten tracks camp ground with plenty of space, wallabies and tranquility. Make sure to approach via Stockyard road. Google Maps was routing me into nowhere as the geo tag is somewhat off.

This is a very nice bush like park about 6km out of town. The owner/managers and staff are all very friendly. The amenities are very good and kept clean. There is also a bbq area but no camp kitchen. I have no hesitation in recommending this park.

Found it by default but it will be part of my future itenerary when visiting the Childers area. It is a short distance from Childers itself and within striking distance of Bundaberg and Woodgate Beach. It is an extensive area of natural parkland, well kept and peaceful. Often one can view the native birdlife and kangaroos in the park. Management was friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Booked in for three nights and ended staying six...why not try it!
